TRAINING OF TRAINER PROGRAM ON ISO GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS, CARBON AND WATER FOOTPRINT STANDARDS HELD

The aim of the third work package of our project is to reduce the environmental and climate-related damage caused by greenhouse gas emissions arising from production processes in the sector, by enhancing companies' capacities in measurement. Through standard trainings provided to company personnel within the scope of the project, businesses will be enabled to measure the footprints left by their products and operations in air and water. In this way, companies will be encouraged to take measures that cause less harm to the environment and climate.

For this purpose, a training of trainer program with the participation of experts/trainers from project partners was held on June 10–13, 2025, in Ankara (Türkiye). During the training, the ISO 14067 Product Carbon Footprint Standard, ISO 14046 Water Footprint Standard, and ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Standards were introduced to the trainers, and practical measurement exercises were conducted. The training was delivered by experts from our project partner, the Climate Association.

The trainers who successfully completed this program will deliver these trainings to a total of 120 sector employees in the four project countries.
